HELP! HELP ME! Sam cried out in
panic, but all that came out was muffled “mmpphh’s”
Sam
then tried to undo the knots but the cloth gripped so tightly that it was
impossible. Trying to saw through the bonds with her fingernails proved to be
equally futile. While Sam was concentrating on this, the water was getting
higher. She could now feel the warm sea waves lapping up against her hips and thighs.
Sam
then panicked for a few minutes then, pulling and twisting like crazy but
getting absolutely nowhere. She managed to calm and tried to think about
getting out of there. I don’t have to
untie myself now, I can try to roll out of here! Once I get up the beach, I can
think about getting free! Why didn’t I think of this before. The easiest way
would be to roll clockwise.
Sam
rolled onto her left side. That was easy,
I’ll I have to do is keep going. I’ll be safe in no time. She then rolled
onto her back, then onto her right hand side and finally back onto her front.
Sam repeated the manoeuvre again with no problems.
But on
the third time she did this, calamity struck. Sam rolled onto her left, then
again onto her back. This time she waited a few seconds to catch her breath.
The waves rolled in, and this time her bonds became soaked with sea water.
The sea
water became mixed with chemicals in the cloth, which caused the fibres to
shrink dramatically. What’s going on?!
ARGH!
Sam
shrieked with pain as her bonds gripped like steel around her wrists and
ankles. As the bonds around her ankles also had vertical wraps, her knees were
forced apart. Her wrist bonds also bit into her and the cloth that hogtied her,
shortened so that it pulled her arms and legs enough to put her body in a
slight arch.
Sam now
tried to roll but she was held rigid by her bonds. She was on her back and
unable to move even an inch now. It feels
like I’m locked in steel bonds now! All I can do is call for help, now! Sam
screamed as loud as possible now. This was made easier by the fact that the
water was now lapping up to the base of her head.
“MMPPHH!
MMPPHH! MMPPHH!” Same carried on screaming as it was her only chance left. The
water got higher and now the waves were coming up to her chin.
Please! Someone find me! PLEASE! Sam begged as
occasional waves washed over her face. She couldn‘t even keep screaming because
she had to shut her mouth at times now. She could only scream in little gaps. Every
time after the wave washed over her and receded, she took deep breaths before
the next one hit. She knew that soon, one of them would hit her and that would
be her final breath.
It came
a few minutes later, her mouth and nose was covered with water, and stayed that
way. Sam knew that her life expectancy was mere minutes, and that it would end
once she couldn’t hold her breath any longer. This moment came two minutes
later, and her lungs emptied of air.
At this
point, Sam didn’t even notice the two arms that grabbed hold of her...
